Check To Do - Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the iOS app Check To Do (bundle ID com.restaurantapps.checktodo), published by B-Team. By installing or using Check To Do you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
For privacy practices, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What Check To Do is
Check To Do is a shared prep checklist for restaurants and cafes. A store owner creates a store, shares the 7-digit Store ID with staff, and everyone works through the same real-time list. The app uses Firebase for accounts and sync, and Apple StoreKit for subscriptions.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Check To Do.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share accounts with other people.
3. Stores, roles, and shared data
- When you create a store you become its owner. You can rename the store, manage members, subscribe, export backups, and delete the store.
- When you join a store with its Store ID you become a staff member. Staff can edit the shared list but cannot subscribe, rename, or delete the store.
- Anything you add to a store (pages, items, recipes, notes, backups, and activity) is visible to every member of that store.
- The store owner controls the subscription and may transfer or delete the store at any time. If a store is deleted, its data is permanently removed for all members.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Paid plans are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Only the store owner can subscribe.
- Subscription availability, pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under your Apple ID and the App Store's terms.
- Any introductory pricing or promotional offer, if available, is shown and handled by Apple in the purchase sheet.
- The subscription auto-renews monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose, at the price shown in Apple's purchase sheet until you cancel.
- To cancel, manage, or view billing, go to Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions on your iPhone, or use the Manage Subscription button in the Check To Do Store tab.
- When a subscription ends, list, team, and backup features are blocked for that store. Existing data is preserved and is restored when the subscription resumes.
- Refund requests must be made to Apple. B-Team cannot process App Store refunds.
5. User content
- You retain ownership of the content you add to Check To Do (list items, recipes, notes, backups).
- You grant B-Team a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you and your store members.
- You are responsible for the content you add. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or that violates anyone else's rights.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, our servers, or other users.
- Use the service to send spam, malware, or unlawful content.
- Attempt to access another user's account or store without permission.
- Resell, rent, or sublicense access to the service.
7. Limits and changes
- The app enforces practical limits to keep the service responsive (currently up to 900 items per store across all pages). These limits may change.
- We may add, change, or remove features, and may update or discontinue the app from time to time.
- We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Termination
You can stop using Check To Do at any time. You can delete your account from the Account tab in the app, or by emailing support@b-team.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk to the service or other users.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Check To Do is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We recommend that you export backups regularly.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, B-Team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD $50, whichever is greater.
11. Apple-specific terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and B-Team, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, without prejudice to any consumer-protection rights you have under your local law.
